Accept Yourself · Be Willing to Take Responsibility · Be Present

When it comes to the realities we must face, whether rich or poor, whether wise or foolish, whether highly educated or ordinary… there are always complaints and dissatisfaction. Everyone has their own unique worries and struggles, as well as challenges and confusions that seem insurmountable.

We are mere mortals with this physical body; from the moment we are born, we are destined to die. We cannot escape the laws of nature. Conversely, we are bound and slaughtered by our emotions and desires,
unaware of it all. We remain obstinate and self-willed. We have too many truths we dare not face, stubbornness we cannot admit, and bad habits that are hard to change. Clearly, time is compassionate,
but human hearts are never satisfied! Only by learning to “accept ourselves” can we believe that everything about us is the most beautiful arrangement and gift from heaven. This is how we come to recognize the true value of life, and it marks the beginning of enjoying life…

So what does it mean to “accept yourself”? It means accepting your inadequacies, your lack of talent, your average appearance, your humble background, your physical disabilities, your weakness, timidity, inferiority complex, lack of opinions, naivety…
or perhaps accepting your exceptional talents, prestigious family background, immense wealth, outstanding appearance, profound knowledge, pridefulness, arrogance, selfishness… all those current conditions.

The topic of “accepting oneself” may seem simple; however, far too many people struggle to take that first step towards self-acceptance. They cannot calmly accept that heaven has given us the best test,
Alas! How regrettable it is to squander precious time in vain! Once a person learns to accept themselves calmly! It equates to truly understanding how to love oneself,
this is what Buddhism refers to as “enlightenment”! Once a person reaches the state of “enlightenment”! They naturally become content and possess an open-minded attitude free from competition and desire; all problems can then be resolved effortlessly!
Because you will be brave enough to take responsibility for yourself; you can transcend limitations; you can break free; you can take charge of your own life. At this point in life, you can certainly be present in every moment—who says life isn’t beautiful!
