Eye Diagnosis 1

Eye Reading
1: Ancient sages placed great importance on physiognomy, not treating it as superstition or unscientific. To govern a nation effectively,

one must first be adept at observing human features and understanding human nature in order to manage people and govern the country. For example, figures like Kongming, Zhang Liang, Guan Zhong, Xu Maogong… and many others are countless examples.Mencius said: “There is no better way to observe a person than through their eyes; the eyes cannot hide their evil. If the heart is righteous, the eyes will be clear; if the heart is not righteous, the eyes will be murky.”

2: The eyes are the windows to the soul; one can discern a person’s character, health, lifespan, wisdom, virtue, deceitfulness, integrity, intelligence or foolishness, loyalty or treachery, authority or lowliness, and emotions through them.
The quality of one’s gaze is crucially linked to their fortune at that moment. The gaze reveals a person’s inner world and mindset at that time. Thus, eye reading is an important indicator in physiognomy.

3: The eyes are directly connected to the brain and cerebellum; the brain governs a person’s thoughts and cognitive system while the cerebellum controls their actions.
The brain issues commands while the cerebellum executes them; therefore, for a person to act normally requires coordination between the brain and cerebellum.
The forehead represents brain organization; a broad and full forehead indicates healthy brain function while bright and clear eyes signify well-functioning cerebellar organization.

4: The eyes are where yin energy enters and exits; both kindness and wickedness can be observed through them.
The eyes serve as an intersection for operational systems and cognitive systems; the space between the eyebrows is a central hub for cognitive systems—the brain’s organization.
The root of the nose serves as a central hub for operational systems; thus, the eyes represent our innate character and wisdom stimulated by our cognitive system as well as our spirit and abilities stimulated by our operational system.

5: The eyes govern our seven emotions and six desires. The seven emotions refer to joy, anger, sorrow, happiness, love, hatred, and desire,
while the six desires refer to our six senses—eyesight (eyes), hearing (ears), smell (nose), taste (tongue), touch (body), and thought (mind). They are crucial for observing one’s character.
A righteous heart leads to clear vision; an evil heart leads to distorted vision. A person with focused eyes enjoys blessings proportionate to their clarity—if they have one part clarity they have one part fortune; if they have ten parts clarity they have ten parts fortune;
conversely, if there is one part illness in their vision there will be one part illness in their heart leading to misfortune. If there are ten parts illness in their vision there will be ten parts illness in their heart leading to great misfortune.

6: Eyes should be elegant yet proper; the outer corners should be rounded like hooks. The inner corners should be smooth like they were cut with a knife,
with distinct black-and-white contrast in vision—dark pupils that are shiny and bright with vitality. Eye energy should be strong yet contained without being overly exposed—this signifies elegance indicating intelligence,
strong abilities along with talent for planning and execution.

7: The distance between two eyes should equal one eye’s length—not too long nor too short.
The outer corners of the eyes should not droop; pupils should sit centrally—not too high or low nor skewed left or right. Eyes must be symmetrical in size,
indicating intelligence with upright hearts that do not stray from righteousness—they will develop along legitimate paths without resorting to trickery or deep scheming—these individuals are virtuous gentlemen of integrity.

8: If someone has beautiful but improperly aligned eyes they may possess stubbornness or self-righteousness with twisted intellects leading them away from proper paths ultimately resulting in difficulties achieving good endings.
A person whose eyes are properly aligned with good features between their eyebrows can control their seven emotions and six desires appropriately without overstepping boundaries—they embody righteousness throughout life leading smooth sailing,
stability along with blessings—children who excel alongside personal achievements.

9: Those with large round eyes tend toward scattered energy—they may exhibit impulsiveness or competitiveness lacking strategic depth making it difficult for them to accumulate wealth—but they often possess talents,
charm among opposite genders along with strong earning capabilities though struggle achieving high status.

10: Those with narrow elongated eyes tend towards concentrated energy which does not easily dissipate—and if paired with double eyelids or single eyelids featuring folds indicate individuals who possess introverted personalities combining both wisdom
& courage resulting in longevity & prosperity being evident.
