The Incantation of the Eastern Emperor Deity

The Eastern Emperor has a very famous invocation spell:

When we sit quietly in a tranquil room, we can recite the Eastern Emperor’s invocation spell to stabilize our body and spirit, harmonizing our hearts with the natural atmosphere, and experience the infinite mysteries of the universe. The full text of the spell is as follows.

In the Nine Gates of the Eastern Sky, there lies the First Emperor, entering and exiting through the Three Pure Ones, roaming in the Mystical Flower Chamber. Stabilizing the Spirit Mountain, commanding fortune and destiny,

Circling above in azure mist, nine thousand lights cold as ice. Attended by celestial chariots and twelve flying dragons, with a left attendant in azure waist and a right guardian spirit child.
Now holding the law tablet, burning jade inscriptions, sincerely invoking and presenting words to the high officials. Adorned with red scriptures, named at the Hall of Participation,
May immortals gaze down upon me from their blue record book. Heavenly spirits descend to my dwelling; blending of energies transforms into hidden forms.
Inviting forth splendid light; divine radiance flows abundantly; my face adorned with golden countenance, seated in natural ease.
Divine beings communicate; heaven and earth are boundless,
Eastern Emperor, swiftly descend to this sacred altar. Om. Ah. Hung. Capture.
