Physiognomy (Part One)

Physiognomy (Part One)

1: The life palace is the area between the two eyebrows, at the center of the forehead, and serves as a pivotal point for a person’s destiny.
It relates to an individual’s personality, lifespan, spirit, abilities, mindset, achievements, successes and failures…

2: The quality of the life palace can influence the ups and downs of one’s life and can also reflect current fortunes.

3: A good life palace should be broad and full, with a bright and moist complexion; its width should ideally be more than one and a half finger widths.

4: A narrow life palace indicates an impatient personality, volatile temper, narrow-mindedness, strong competitiveness, low self-esteem, poor heart and lung function,
heavy suspicion towards others, jealousy, lack of thorough thinking, anxiety over gains and losses, making it difficult to achieve success.

5: A full life palace with good complexion signifies abundant energy, smooth fortunes, good physical and mental health,
successful career achievements, upright thoughts, broad-mindedness, and good interpersonal relationships.

6: There should be no stray hairs in the life palace; scars or blemishes are also undesirable as they can affect self-esteem and lead to feelings of inferiority or rebelliousness. This may result in unrecognized talent.

7: A sunken or damaged life palace leads to significant ups and downs in life; it may result in unfulfilled aspirations. During youth, one may face worries and struggles with hard work; marriage may not be favorable; children may find it difficult to show filial piety.

8: Those with an overly wide life palace tend to be easy-going but lack personal opinions. They are easily trusting of others which can lead to losses—especially women who may fall victim in romantic relationships.

9: An excessively open life palace suggests that in romantic matters one should avoid overly complicated interactions with the opposite sex and excessive intimacy is also inadvisable.

10: Individuals with a very wide life palace should conduct careful research and analysis before making investments or financial decisions; they should not act rashly. The same applies when acting as guarantors or witnesses for others.
