What is the Purpose of Spiritual Practice?

Spiritual cultivation and spiritual movement.
Spiritual movement and spiritual cultivation.
For certain purposes.
For example, to seek the so-called supernatural powers (spiritual communication).
Or to solve the so-called troubles of spiritual illness and spiritual oppression on the body.
And to study the so-called methods of spiritual movement.
This is either blind or helpless learning.
It is all a choice made by oneself.

The essence of spiritual communication has no distinction between good and bad.
When practiced correctly, it can be beneficial for diligent study.
If one seeks fame and fortune through spiritual communication,
that is a misunderstanding in one’s practice.
To think of using spiritual communication to save all beings,
that is arrogance and delusion.
May I ask who you are saving?
If it is yourself that you wish to save, what have you gained?
If you wish to save others, what can you change in them?

Cultivating spiritual movement allows for spiritual communication.
Using external forces, one can manifest supernatural powers.
Can it solve any problems in the world?
If it could! That would be wishful thinking.
You want to borrow its supernatural power,
but it wants to borrow your body.
Do you know if what it borrows will be returned?
If there is borrowing without return, what will you do then?
Is that being possessed by a spirit or a ghost?
Your body’s code will naturally tell you:
is it becoming lighter and more peaceful or more troubled and afflicted?
Stop for a moment and reflect quietly.
Changing oneself is as difficult as reaching the heavens above.
Do not try to borrow power only to end up being taken over instead.
A single obsessive thought may turn one into a servant of spirits or demons.
