Avalokiteshvara Heart Mantra
The Avalokiteshvara Heart Mantra (that is, the Six-Syllable Great Bright Mantra / Six-Syllable Mantra, Sanskrit: Om Mani Padme Hum) comes from the Mahayana Buddhist scripture The Sutra of the Buddha Speaks of the Great Vehicle Adornment Jewel King.
