Questions related to spiritual practice ~ Netizens’ comments and sharing ~
Qiu Bingjun commented: May I ask if the methods and approaches for practice at this time must be chosen?? Are there any more comprehensive methods that can be practiced simultaneously?
Phoenix Mountain, Cihuang Palace replied to Qiu Bingjun: There is no so-called comprehensive method of practice that can be practiced simultaneously; only the cultivation of one’s nature is the unique gateway to enter various paths.
For example: The process of cultivation that the Master of Miaoxin went through was as follows: 1. Spent three years learning Taoism. 2. Spent three years studying Zen Buddhism. 3. Spent another three years deeply experiencing and researching spiritual practices. 4. Used one year to conduct experiments, personally experiencing the mysteries and formless realities of the Dharma realm.
Xie Zhixian commented: Is it normal for my whole body to feel hot when I meditate? Please advise, thank you.
Phoenix Mountain, Cihuang Palace replied to Xie Zhixian: Is it normal for your whole body to feel hot during meditation? What is the degree of heat? If it gets so hot that you feel uncomfortable, then that’s not normal!
A netizen commented: May I boldly ask the Master about the origin and essence of spiritual practice on Ling Mountain? Why are there almost no relevant historical documents available, not even unofficial histories?
Phoenix Mountain, Cihuang Palace replied: The twentieth century is a century of total reckoning for karmic causes and effects entering the end phase of the third period; humanity has gone through countless cycles of reincarnation, with accumulated causes and effects now in a clearing phase—past lives involve “Dynasty Spirits” and “World Spirits,” while this life involves “Spirituality” and “Original Spirit.”
Body, mind, and spirit—”Cell Memory” and “Alaya Consciousness”—synchronize in deep cultivation; Buddha said: It cannot be spoken. The Dao said: Heavenly secrets cannot be leaked. This is because sentient beings are ignorant, deluded, and unable to understand the true meaning of the Dharma realm; Catholicism emphasizes spiritual practice, while Buddhist esoteric teachings are not publicly transmitted; Taoist classics conceal their true meanings; without encountering a wise teacher, it’s difficult to convey these teachings.
A netizen commented: Thank you, Master; I will remember this carefully.
Li Zhongyuan commented: Brothers and sisters, may I ask something? Because I have also been practicing for several years now but still don’t feel much; am I doing something wrong? When I meditate, it’s usually two or three hours long—my body does move! How about you?
Phoenix Mountain, Cihuang Palace replied to Li Zhongyuan: Hello! I’ve just finished a two-day pilgrimage incense-offering trip in Hualien-Taitung recently. After returning to the palace, I’ve been busy with two days of sacred events; I’m only now able to respond. Meditation is not about pursuing feelings or sensations but rather about purifying and evolving both body and mind so that they can break through self-potential development.
Meditation techniques vary—there are breath counting techniques, visualization techniques, energy regulation techniques, empty observation techniques…and many more methods—it’s not just sitting idly! As for being able to meditate for two or three hours indicates that your concentration and stability are sufficient; the difference lies in whether your method aligns with your personal needs.
A netizen commented: Cultivating heart, speech karma, being a good person—is that right?
Phoenix Mountain, Cihuang Palace replied: Cultivating heart, speech karma, being a good person—this centers around Confucian thought focusing on cultivating oneself well as a basic quality of being human.
Confucianism emphasizes nurturing one’s heart (nurturing one’s heart—maintaining balance), teaching principles—speaking loyalty and forgiveness. Buddhism emphasizes understanding one’s mind (understanding one’s mind—all laws return to one), teaching principles—speaking compassion. Taoism emphasizes cultivating one’s heart (cultivating one’s heart—embracing unity), teaching principles—speaking goodness.
Christianity emphasizes cleansing one’s nature (cleansing one’s heart—silent prayer brings unity), teaching principles—speaking universal love. Islam emphasizes firming one’s nature (firming one’s resolve—returning to purity), teaching principles—speaking compassion. If we could gather together the essence of each religion’s teachings for cultivation purposes then we could achieve comprehensive all-around practice leading towards perfection!
Lin Meiling commented: Excuse me~ What is meant by ‘collecting round work’?
Phoenix Mountain Cihuang Palace replied Lin Meiling: Collecting round means integrating all aspects from countless lifetimes (unlocking potential from past life practices) by redoing (supplementing) courses that were insufficient in previous lives—a perfect enhancement across lifetimes leading back to our source.
What do we use for integration? We use pure untainted wisdom from our true nature for integration while resolving through virtuous deeds accumulated from our practices leading towards unity.
If integration fails it’s due to fracture points caused by accumulated karmic debts over lifetimes which manifest as habits hidden within oneself (cell memory).
To resolve karmic debts one must first repent inwardly towards past selves and change habits. Once fracture points connect again ignorance breaks away allowing wisdom to open up enabling true self-awareness across past present future thus achieving unity.
Wang Huici commented: How do we cultivate protective nets?
Guo Peixuan commented: Cultivating protective nets means strengthening spiritual energy through practices like silent meditation on spirit bodies training physical bodies opening texts etc… A strong spirit body naturally resists negative energy fields…
Just like having a strong physique can resist germs’ invasion…
This is my humble opinion…
Phoenix Mountain Cihuang Palace added clarification regarding cultivating protective nets around spirit bodies must also combine with mantra empowerment accumulating virtue through actions refining spiritual energy through stillness refining vital energy through movement observing inner truth refining genuine qi building foundations refining primordial fire at lower dantian transforming into innate non-action absorbing cosmic energies opening up pathways throughout.
Pure Yang vital energy circulates connecting innate eight trigrams positioning heaven earth aligning human divine energies transmitting messages conveying heavenly intentions performing virtuous deeds resolving karmic obstacles demonic tests.
Chen Xuanyan commented: When close to temples I tend to yawn excessively feeling nauseous but unable actually vomit anything out.
Phoenix Mountain Cihuang Palace replied Chen Xuanyan based on our experience such phenomena indicate insufficient vital energy hence excessive yawning occurs when near temples additionally feeling nauseous suggests residual turbid yin energy within oneself when approaching palaces temples shrines spirit bodies receive divine energies which assist physical bodies in expelling impurities though nothing tangible actually comes out.
Zhang Yongxue commented:May I ask why when entering temples there aren’t burps or vomiting yet my stomach feels bloated even if hungry at times?
Phoenix Mountain Cihuang Palace replied Zhang Yongxue:This belongs under phenomena indicating sufficient qi flow also representing manifestation from spirits;when our physical bodies come into contact with temple shrine energies qi flow isn’t absorbed via nostrils but rather absorbed throughout skin pores sometimes even drawing cosmic energies divine blessings via navel chakra cases too!
Chen Meihong commented:Could you please explain how should we perform regarding Spiritual Practice Three Treasures:Enlightenment,Empowerment,Bestowal? Thank you!
Phoenix Mountain Cihuang Palace responded Chen Meihong:Spiritual Practice requires going through stages enlightenment empowerment bestowal respectively 1.Without enlightenment individuals cannot experience transformation after awakening spirituality they must undergo firsthand experiences akin drinking water knowing its temperature themselves。
2.Empowerment during spiritual processes individuals often encounter electric blessings from teachers masters deities experiencing such energetic empowerment enhances understanding importance benefits gained practicing positive energies serving as affirmation recognition towards oneself。
3.Bestowal process involves elevation within practices stages requiring guidance approval from invisible teachers spirits before receiving bestowal rituals serving as symbolic recognition too。
Zeng Lina commented:Once a teacher mentioned other spirits residing within me what should I do?
Phoenix Mountain Cihuang Palace responded Zeng Lina:Such issues require formal appointment inquiries please allow deity Guanyin Bodhisattva access materials clarify origins circumstances before drawing conclusions。Our service sisters many years ago believed advice given by fellow practitioners suggesting need transcend 108 souls trapped causing issues would resolve over time however after numerous efforts transcending souls exceeded twice resulting over hundred souls hiding inside her body due accumulated merits served within palace previously divided into three phases— finally sending away all those souls yet long-standing created black hole around Qi Sea area forming vortex easily attracting turbid yin energies impurities。Her approach was fundamentally misguided accumulating negative virtues while ancestral lineage awaited proper assistance transcendence!
Focusing solely on primary duties neglecting responsibilities leads others’ blessings fields become overgrown weeds unaware needing diligent care nurturing。Many remain unclear regarding spiritual sources channels karmic relations spanning three lives often taking pleasure instructing others casually creating blocks hindering fellow practitioners’ growth already accruing countless karma without realizing awakening consequences bearing burdensome karmas upon others therefore we refrain from pointing out individuals’ spirits examining their karmas across lives!
