Unfavorable Fortune is Truly Created by Karma
Most people, when they feel that their fortune is not going well or encounter sudden serious situations, will seek divine help and consult oracles. In their state of panic and confusion, they rush to find remedies, heading wherever they hear of powerful teachers or temples. If their fortune is actually still good at that moment, they may meet a wise teacher who can guide them through the storm. However, the vast majority end up encountering deceitful groups that only make things worse for them; these groups use sensational claims to scam you out of large sums of money, providing only temporary relief before another disaster strikes soon after, leading you deeper into trouble.
Some people often ask what exactly is happening? Why have I done many things like attending rituals, special ceremonies, or having deities carry money for negotiations but still haven’t found relief? Why can’t I have smooth sailing?
Most of the time we receive three common explanations:
First, it’s because your karma from past lives is too heavy; there are vengeful spirits demanding repayment that you haven’t settled yet, so they come to claim what is owed.
Second, perhaps the vengeful spirits are someone close to you in this life; because you owe them too much, they hinder you and make your life increasingly difficult.
Third, you carry a divine mission; if you do not fulfill it, it could lead to family breakdowns and personal ruin.
The first point instills fear in you, prompting you to hold one ritual after another or even borrow money to pay off this invisible debt.
The second point leads most people to develop hatred towards this person or endure unfair treatment. If this person happens to be a family member such as a child, husband, or wife, it further disrupts family harmony and balance.
The third point fosters arrogance in people who believe they can do anything under heaven; as long as they perform some rituals casually, they think they can align themselves with deities and control everything.
So then, is there no past life? Is there no karma demanding repayment? The answer is yes.
Then are these three points not true? The answer is yes—they can be true.
So is doing this wrong? The answer is yes—it’s wrong.
Everyone has reincarnated as humans; we have gained some blessings and wisdom. Why should we be trapped by our unknown pasts and engage in incomprehensible actions?
Let’s take an example from our school years. If you break a school rule once and make a mistake, usually we would reflect on it and learn not to repeat it. Then we correct that mistake;
isn’t that enough to resolve the issue? Yes! That’s right—you’ve learned your lesson and won’t repeat it. So will the school keep reminding you about that mistake?
Of course not! They will only pay closer attention to your performance in that area because of your previous mistake.
Do you understand this example?! Let’s put it this way—being alive in this world indeed means that due to mistakes from past lives you may face some punishment or misfortune;
however, if one only seeks bribes as a way out of punishment without genuine repentance or improvement—this will only lead the recipient of such bribes into deeper cycles of dependency on such payments for relief—whether real or fake can be seen clearly?
Usually not! So one has no choice but to let the speaker set the price while continuously spending money on disaster relief with no effectiveness.
How can one effectively cut off these issues at their root? One—Repentance. Two—Establish Virtue. Three—Perform Good Deeds.
What does repentance mean? It means acknowledging one’s sins without adding guilt upon oneself; repentance leads to eternal life—it’s the first step in countless religions. Why? Because if you know you’ve done wrong—even if guilty—you can lessen your punishment;
even victims cannot impose personal retribution against those who acknowledge their mistakes and accept penalties; carefully reflect on your own actions;
every action taken towards others—are there any errors present? Reflect on them with a repentant heart; constantly correct your mistakes starting from kindness and compassion while acting without guilt;
this way you’ll cultivate stronger positive energy around yourself while negative influences cannot approach your surroundings gradually changing your fortune for the better. span > p >

thus practicing together avoids suffering from karmic retribution across lifetimes . If during our current existence we cannot improve ourselves nor advance spiritually but instead remain trapped within cycles of karmic repayment ; span >
failing at cultivating virtue within present moments hinders our ability facing accumulated karmic debts across multiple lifetimes ! If we cannot overcome bad habits now ; span >
how would we possess strength confronting issues stemming from countless lifetimes ? The biggest challenge lies believing oneself capable ; once thoughts shift positively & consistent efforts manifest physically direct changes occur within destiny . span > p >
