Among the many deities in the limitless heavenly realm, there are generals, vice-generals, and stewards… Although their positions and ranks vary, they are collectively referred to as [Nine Dragons] after descending to the mortal realm. The maidens (fairies) beside the Queen Mother, such as the Fan-Wielding Fairy, the Ruyi Fairy, attendants, and sword-bearing guards… have different duties and ranks but are also collectively known as [Nine Phoenixes] after descending to the mortal realm. Whether it is Nine Dragons or Nine Phoenixes, they all descend to be reincarnated by divine decree with one purpose: to cultivate into primordial gas and fulfill their heavenly mandate to return to the limitless heavens. This is called [True Spirit Returning to Origin for Restoration]. Although Taiji Heavenly Spirits do not need to return under divine decree, they must also cultivate to enhance their own merits. The original spirit exists in a gaseous form in the heavenly realm. However, if it were to descend into the mortal realm while still in gaseous form, wouldn’t that be [terrifying]? Therefore, it is compressed into [a point of spiritual light] entrusted within a physical body. This is similar to how we compress [large files] on our computer using RAR or ZIP formats; when needed, we decompress them. The [point] of spiritual light resides in the chest area of the physical body. Since the physical body’s [innate cover] has already been sealed during descent, it cannot revert back to its original form. It needs to rely on meditative practices and energy cultivation through its physical body using its true primordial gas (innate qi) for cultivation—nurturing spirit and nourishing spirit—so that this point of spiritual light can gradually grow stronger. This process resembles nurturing a fetus while simultaneously cultivating harmony between the physical body and original spirit (unity of spirit and body). When the original spirit returns to its gaseous state, it signifies that it has begun executing its heavenly mandate in the mortal world (however, in order for this point of spiritual light within the original spirit to grow stronger, we must first cultivate innate qi; only then can we nurture and nourish our spirit).

When the physical body dies, it separates from it and returns to the spiritual realm; this is retrograde restoration or what is commonly referred to as [spiritual cultivation]. When an original spirit knows that we are helping them cultivate spiritually, they will reciprocate by granting us good health and smooth careers… This is a mutually dependent relationship where cause and effect intertwine. Once a physical body recognizes its original spirit—it must begin learning [the Way] for itself while also cultivating for its original spirit.

*How to Cultivate Spirit?

Cultivating spirit generally refers to what is known as [spiritual practice], but I believe that spirits themselves do not cultivate; rather it is through cultivating our physical bodies that we assist spirits in their practice. Therefore, it should be termed [cultivating spirit]. Is cultivating spirit very difficult? What tools do you need? Where should you practice? How should you practice? In fact, it’s not difficult at all; it’s about starting with ourselves (cultivating the Way), refining our speech, mind, body, actions, virtues, etiquette—these points I believe everyone understands. The only issue lies in initial practical application being somewhat challenging; however one must strive earnestly.

*Nurturing Spirit

The original spirit comes from pure celestial energy; after descending into a mortal vessel from above it transforms innate qi into acquired qi due to inhaled air being impure (polluted air). Thus one must refine acquired qi into true qi through spiritual cultivation—refining essence into qi and then refining qi into divinity (innate qi has been achieved)—and finally refining divinity back into emptiness before merging with Dao! However, this process varies greatly depending on individual effort!

Pregnancy isn’t exclusive to women; men can also experience pregnancy—but not with a physical fetus but rather with a [spiritual fetus]. To allow this fetus growth requires nourishment from its mother’s nutrients; so what does a spiritual fetus absorb? As mentioned earlier—the original spirit is fundamentally energy—so naturally what it absorbs must also be energy—and specifically pure energy! Hence spending more time daily meditating and adjusting one’s breath while circulating one’s own energy will nurture (nourish) one’s spirit so that this tiny point of spiritual light grows stronger day by day until ultimately awakening intelligence within one’s original spirit (awakening dormant memories).

*Awakening Spirit

A small infant grows gradually during deep sleep (growing an inch with each slumber); isn’t this quite natural? When it’s time for them to wake up naturally they will awaken on their own; if you inexplicably wake them up during deep sleep—what do you think will happen? They might cry due to lack of sufficient rest… Awakening spirits is a spontaneous phenomenon akin to ripe fruit falling from trees. There are indeed many practitioners who utilize external forces for awakening spirits {due solely because their own energetic capacity may be insufficient for spontaneous awakening but face severe pressure from their spirits—they have no choice but rely on external energies from celestial beings or Buddhas}. However post-awakening guidance in practice becomes extremely important which is why wise teachers do not easily assist others in awakening spirits!

Simultaneously meditating helps bridge communication between fleshly bodies and spirits allowing them mutual interaction—much like neighbors living above or below each other who see each other often yet never greet one another—they remain strangers until starting each day with simple greetings like “Hello,” slowly engaging in conversation over time leading towards mutual understanding enhancing relationships culminating eventually towards developing tacit understanding achieving unity between fleshly bodies and spirits when your connection strengthens alongside your restored gaseous state,

It will naturally guide you towards further cultivation once both your fleshly body acknowledges your original spirit’s existence allowing dialogue between both entities where inquiries can be made regarding wisdom gained through experiences (those lost souls require guidance while enlightened ones navigate themselves). The original spirit will exert every effort answering various questions posed by your fleshly self enabling greater wisdom acquisition! It may even awaken long-forgotten memories revealing insights about past lives across multiple lifetimes (developing latent potentials across previous existences rectifying past deficiencies)!

During spiritual cultivation processes occurrences such as [spirit movement][spirit language] arise which are entirely normal phenomena—not something worth worrying about nor needing attention—as these merely signify awakened spirits stretching out like waking infants crying out demanding milk!
